When we went to San Francisco, we had no idea who Tom Medin was

(his back is to us in the picture above) and we had no idea who Jean-Marc

Gorce was (pictured holding his famous truffles). In fact, we didn't

even know who Giovanni Giotta was (pictured in his youth, and in

his wisdom, above) but now... thanks to Tom Medin who is one

of the founders of Local Tastes of the City Tours, we know all

of these powerhouse figures of San Francisco's finest consumable

offerings. Jean-Marc makes San Francisco's best truffles, Giovanni

brews SF's best coffee at Caffe Trieste. We got to taste and understand

some of the best foods, desserts, and beverages San Francisco has

to offer through Tom's tour!
